Globus Empordà

Created out of a spirit of adventure and the fascination for balloons, Globus Empordà was founded in 1999 by Joan Viñas Cassé, who decided to offer balloon flights in his homeland L'Empordà.

Since then he has gained experience flying in different parts of Catalonia, Spain and taking part in two expeditions: Turpial- Amazons ( the first time the Amazons was overflown by balloon) and Turpial-Sahara ( flights over the Sahara desert in Mauritania).

Presently, his two brothers, Jaume and Jordi, also fly the balloons
