Arrangements. Everything starts at the break of day. We find a suitable location for taking off and once there we make sure the weather conditions are favourable. We meet early in the morning. We prepare the hot air balloon for its inflation, which normally takes about half an hour. The meeting point is nearly always the same as the departure point. Schedule: -6.45 to 7.00 a.m. from May to late August. -7.30 to 8.30 a.m. in autumn and spring. -8.30 to 9.00 a.m. in winter.

The flight. We are ready to float in the sky at the mercy of the wind. The very first moment of not touching the ground with your feet is just unforgettable. Depending on the weather we shall go up between 500 and 1000 metres. The flight usually takes an hour or an hour and a half (according to weather conditions).

Landing and rescue. Our vehicles will closely follow our route by land with radio communication and they will pick us up after landing to go and have breakfast together. Those who do not want to fly are welcome to take part in the follow-up and the breakfast.

Celebration and farewell. The tradition says that once we land we must celebrate with cava and a typical breakfast. We will set out for a full country-style breakfast and we will celebrate the flight with a toast of cava. All the participants will be given a certificate and each couple or group will receive a DVD of Baix Empordà from the sky for free.
